After adventuring around my local Borders store and bartering with the blind man at the counter for a chicken and the leg of a medic, I bought 4 new 40k books:Red Fury*, Black Tide**, Sons of Dorn, and Rynn's World. I was incredibly happy with the first two and learning that the hero Rafen, of the Blood Angels Omnibus, returned to fight again against, surprisingly, the Primogenitor of Chaos Undivided, Fabius Bile and also struggling against the aggression of his cousin chapter, the Flesh Tearers. I tore through both Red Fury (despite being a rather slow and boring story for 3/4 of the book) and Black Tide in about four days and enjoyed both thoroughly. As for the other two, Sons of Dorn and Rynn's World, I am saving them for my upcoming vacation and look forward to reading about the descendants of Rogal Dorn and the amazing feats of Pedro Kantor, Chapter Master of the Crimson Fists.

*Red Fury [8.5/10]

**Black Tide [9.5/10]

Until next time, Ave Imperator

So I got myself a copy of Lord of the Night by Simon Spurrier from eBay and found it to be extremely enjoyable. With the Talonmaster, Zso Sahaal, as the main character it was a thrilling story as he searches for an artifact that belonged to his father, the Night Haunter. Although I did not find him nearly as cool as Talos of Soul Hunter and far more arrogant, he is still an amazing part of the VIII Legion and is a true Night Lord, free of chaos. Overall, well worth the $9 I paid for it. [9.5/10]

Figured it was time to make a new post...

I have recently just read the most fascinating Warhammer 40k novel titled Soul Hunter by the author Aaron Dembski-Bowden. It is a story about a group of Chaos Space Marines, the Night Lords, and a little adventure that will hopefully turn into a trilogy. I found this book made me become very fascinated with the Night Lords and their dark history. Very engaging, entertaining, and full of that beautiful carnage that only Chaos Space Marines are capable of. I highly recommend that any Warhammer 40k fan should pick up this $9 book.

*UPDATE: Declaring this my favorite 40k book series ever. [10/10]

Now I just need to find the Lord Of The Night book...

Well.. not really. I mean that more in the sense that I am writing a 40k book that I hope to someday send to the people at the Black Library, the supplier of all of the Warhammer & Warhammer 40k novels, in hopes that they will accept it, which as we all should know is VERY unlikely but, hey, who cares?
I know that not too many people will care bout this but... eh.
If anyone actually wants to know what the story is about, well... you should ask and then I might reply. Company Secret, ya hear?
Oh and here is another Golden Demon Pic cuz I was gettin' tired of looking at that other one.

Story time!
