After adventuring around my local Borders store and bartering with the blind man at the counter for a chicken and the leg of a medic, I bought 4 new 40k books:Red Fury*, Black Tide**, Sons of Dorn, and Rynn's World. I was incredibly happy with the first two and learning that the hero Rafen, of the Blood Angels Omnibus, returned to fight again against, surprisingly, the Primogenitor of Chaos Undivided, Fabius Bile and also struggling against the aggression of his cousin chapter, the Flesh Tearers. I tore through both Red Fury (despite being a rather slow and boring story for 3/4 of the book) and Black Tide in about four days and enjoyed both thoroughly. As for the other two, Sons of Dorn and Rynn's World, I am saving them for my upcoming vacation and look forward to reading about the descendants of Rogal Dorn and the amazing feats of Pedro Kantor, Chapter Master of the Crimson Fists.
*Red Fury [8.5/10]
**Black Tide [9.5/10]
